The Senior Estimator is responsible for bidding, 
planning, coordinating and guiding the clients’ 
product from start to finish.  The focus in this 
position is the ability to work with sales 
representatives and customers, coordinate with 
suppliers and inside the machine shop to assure 
that the clients job specifications are met on 
time, at the expected high quality and lowest 
cost. This means working with engineering 
designs, documents, specifications, prototypes 
and/or change orders to determine the equipment, 
materials and methods of manufacture to produce 
a high quality end product as specified by our 
products.
* Must have working knowledge of estimating and 
structural engineering
*Must be willing to develop/improve current 
processes
*Must have ability to procure raw materials at 
best price
*Must have ability to read Structural 
engineering design plans
*Must be proficient in Auto CAD
*Need to be well organized and have good 
communication skills
*Must have general working knowledge of machine 
shop. Experience with using various machines a 
positive.
 

 
EXPERIENCE:

Experienced person with 5-7 years work in 
Steel/Metals or Similar
Engineering background or Bachelors’ Degree 
preferred
Experience as Estimator or similar
