Job Description:
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the 
management 
of construction projects related to the installation of geomembrane liners 
and 
covers in a cost effective and timely manner, while maintaining a high 
level of safety 
and quality.​ General responsibilities include material & subcontract 
procurement, 
contract review, cost control, scheduling, safety, personnel scheduling, 
preparation 
of submittals, liaising with the client and in general ensuring that field 
projects are 
completed safely, on time and within budget.​

The key responsibilities of this position include:

·         Management of multiple projects across the U.​S.​ through balanced 
office and 
on-site attendance.​

·         Preparation and monitoring of project budgets in consultation 
with Estimating.​

·         Manage the Construction Safety Program to ensure that site 
requirements are 
met.​

·         Provide design and engineering assistance to clients and 
engineers as 
required.​

·         Perform thorough Contract Reviews.​

·         Perform preliminary bid site-walks with regular on-site visits

·         Clearly identify and pursue change orders.​

·         Communicate effectively the project requirements with plant, 
field, 
administration, and management.​


The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

·         Diploma or certification in Construction Management/​Project 
Management an 
asset.​

·         Minimum of 7 years of civil project management and supervisory 
experience.​

·         Hands on experience with field contracting or related civil work 
activities such 
as roadwork, concrete foundations, general site preparation.​

·         Must be familiar with project submittal process and construction 
contract 
administration.​

·         A proven track record as a leader in enhancement of safety, 
quality, and 
productivity.​

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills, team-player 
attitude.​

·         Computer literacy with MS Office Suite is a mandatory 
requirement, additional 
skills with Project management software and accounting a plus.​

·         Experience working on public and private contracts.​
