This position will be responsible for growing and supervising a team of project managers, scientists and technicians responsible for the performance of environmental assessments, investigations, remediation, compliance and permitting. The position will be responsible for managing multiple existing soil and groundwater remediation projects as well as developing new business in the region. Position requirements include: BS Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or related degree required, Masters Degree preferred; 10+ years of environmental consulting experience… private sector experience a plus; Demonstrated technical expertise and ability to manage soil and groundwater remediation projects over $500,000 and books of business over $1,000,000, annualized; Existing client base/book of business over $300,000, annualized; Ability to develop opportunities with new clients for the company; Ability to assemble, coach and mentor technical staff; Advanced environmental regulatory knowledge with proven negotiation skills with regulators; Excellent writing and computer skills; Experience working in Colorado, New Mexico and surrounding states.
