Job Description: |

The Multiphase Specialist will proactively consult with our customers,
playing a lead role in supporting important accounts with significant
impact on revenues for software and value-added consulting services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work collaboratively with software customers to ensure their successful
use of our products, sustain a renewals revenue stream and cultivate
opportunities to expand software licenses
- Contribute advanced technical guidance on multidisciplinary applications
- Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with customers
- Assist Sales and Marketing units in sales campaigns and strategic market
development
- Guide in-house efforts in expanding customer accounts
- Use services to promote new software license sales and expansions
- Collaborate in the selling of advanced consulting services: meet with
customers, prepare project budgets and author proposals
- Follow procedures, track and organize project information to realize
sustained growth in process efficiency
- Other job related duties may be assigned by management from time to time
Minimum Requirements:
- Ph.D in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field or an MS
degree with relevant industrial experience
- Mastery of multiphase fluid flow modeling with combustion or other
chemical reactions
- Two years of experience in the use of our company's software
- Must display ability to work well with others in a diverse team
environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and to communicate
effectively with customers
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to create engineering
solutions to customer problems
- Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting successful proposals for
services and business development
- Knowledge of other commercial CAE software packages a plus
- Experience in the use of CAD Packages (such as CATIA, Unigraphics,
Pro/Engineer a plus
- Programming experience and scripting language experience (C, C++, Java,
Jscript) a plus |
